Common Reasons of the Tineco Vacuum Water Leakage
Tineco has made several lives easier with quick, reliable, automatic/manual, and versatile cleaning. Clean the hardwood floor, tiles, and carpet directly with wet and dry vacuum options. Whether you use it with care, the water leakage issue may arise. Therefore, we have listed the common reasons why my vacuum has water leakage.
→ Damaged Body
The filter container contains the water, and if its casing is leaked, it will spill water. The motor will not be able to get enough water with the speed of a vacuum cleaner, causing the water to come out of the body.
If you ever face this problem, locating the hole or damaged part is best. After that, insulate it with some insulating material or a heat gun. If it’s still showing leakage, replace the filter or the damaged part.
→ Clogged Dust Particles
When the cleaner is used, dust particles, debris, and hair are clogged in the housing and nozzle of the vacuum cleaner. It further creates dirt in the cup and causes water leakage. The best way to resolve it is to clean the filter after using it every time. Automatic cleaning features also help the filter prevent mold buildup.
→ Several Passes while Sucking
Sometimes everything works fine, but the vacuum cleaner loses its sucking and picking power. It means it loses its debris-sucking power, usually due to several passes in the air inlet. So, check all the passes and close them, and it will stop water leakage while cleaning the floor.
→ Wash Dustbin and Filter
The small particles create some space while attaching the filter and basket to the main body. Therefore, washing the dustbin and filter to remove such particles will automatically resolve the water leakage.
→ Not using the Right Solution
It’s an indirect problem created when we don’t use the recommended cleaners or liquids. Always use the proper cleaning liquid for all the Tineco cleaners. My most favorite and recommended is CWT with foam detergent. What’s the benefit? It cleans the floor and also keeps the filter clean. Users praise it because it’s affordable and gives the best results to prevent water leakage.
→ Roller cover and Gasket
CWT, DWT, brush roll cover, and loose Gasket also cause water leakage. Make sure these components are installed correctly. Read the instruction manual to install the components properly. When you hear a clicking sound, it means the hardware component has been attached correctly.
→ DWT is not Full
Overfilling always causes water leakage, and the same is true for DWT. Always make sure the DWT is not full. Also, a dirty DWT may cause spilling of the water; therefore, clean it at least once in a week.
→ Brush Chamber and Debris
Last but not least, debris can block floaters, pre-filters, and brush chambers. Therefore, always keep them clean to prevent water leakage. Clean them 2-3 times a week to prevent blocking issues. Clean them under water or use a soft cloth to remove the stubborn debris on the brush roller chamber.
Conclusion
In conclusion, there are many reasons for the leakage of your Tineco vacuum mop. Don’t forget to clean the machine after use or 2 times a week to prevent clogging and leakage problems. Always buy a vacuum cleaner with a washable brush roller and filter. Don’t use too much force while installing and reinstalling the components. Use water water or quality cleaning liquid to prevent leakage problems. The reason is that such products do not allow the debris to stick with the body or settle down in small spaces. We hope you will find these tips helpful to resolve water leakage issues.
